Introducing Myself to the Community

@bluecashew97 no- I’m only taking medication to control my blood pressure. I’m struggling with this diet stuff. I feel like a rabbit . This girl loves steak and potatoes…. And of course this is something I must avoid. I’m surprised at how well I’ve done getting rid of my coke. Even 1 a day is so bad- now I drink this Bubly stuff when I need something with fizz.

@bluecashew97 I have never tried to lose weight. I’ve always been a healthy weight , even though it’s been over 20 years since I’ve exercised. I am stage 3 , but not experiencing symptoms. I would like to prevent my CKD from progressing, and from everything I’m reading, diet and exercise is the best option. So far I have eliminated coke ( my favorite drink) completely, and am avoiding red meat. Those are the 2 biggest things. ( for me) -
