Has anyone had the Intracept procedure for chronic pain?

Has anyone had the procedure called Intracept? My pain mgmt Dr recommended it bc nothing he tried has lasted very long.

Yes I’ve had injections in my back and it’s really helped sometimes it last for months. The weather has a lot to do with the pain that I have. When the weather changes and the storms and rain it’s going to flare up

I’ve had lots of tests and now it looks like I’ll be heading towards surgery. Either a lumbar fusion or a lumbar laminectomy. I’m getting 1 more dr’s opinion before I make my decision.

It’s hard to explain exactly but the dr makes a small incision in my back to get to a bone then pierces the bone to get to a nerve to quarterize it.
