Internal Tremors and Anxiety: Can They Be Related?

I already talked about the twitching involved with my anxiety but I had recently had an internal tremor in my left arm. It stopped when I moved it and slightly started another time when I was resting. It went away and I haven’t had it again. Can that be a cause of anxiety even if I didn’t have anxiety at the time? I also take Lexapro but I have been taking that for a month (5mg) and I haven’t had an issue like that when I first took it. I made the mistake of looking it up and now I have anxiety over it.

I just recently upped my meds 3 mos ago and I also had arm twitches. It was kind of scary, but I asked my doc and he said it’s nothing to worry about. ❤️

I have twitching and shaking sometimes when I’m in a triggering environment or really stressed. I’m not sure I have any helpful tips because I haven’t talked with my doc about it but at least you know it’s not just you 💕
