Intermittent Tinnitus and Deafness

I have intermittent tinnitus. I was wondering who else with intermittent tinnitus sometimes experiences deafness when it starts to act up. This doesn't always happen, but sometimes I can't hear a single thing out of the ear it's happening with. I've never had it happen with both ears at once.

Sorry. Mine is constant. Started 5 years ago with a virus, probablyvthe virus that caused the latest cancer. There is some slight variation in volume but it changes very incrementally, i dont notice it change.
