hi everyone, I'm going to explain this as best as I can, but it will be difficult. do any of you experience almost like a very intense association with things? like for me I have and have always had these "worlds" sort of? that like everything fits into one of them, and it gets to the point where I associate certain things with traumas and these traumas kind of have their own world, which anything that I associate that with aesthetic/world/mind palace thingy or whatever it is causes me to then become triggered and I get so distracted in my life because I'm almost completely wrapped up in the world thing or the trigger,do you experience this? if so what is this and what do I do about it?

Yes I 100% do this as well. This may be associated with PTSD and repetitive thoughts due to anxiety. (We can get PTSD from pretty much anything if our bodies decide it is trauma) sometimes this can happen from a disordered nervous system and you can react to even small things (my case). I've learned breathing techniques help a TON when this happens. I usually breath in for 4 and out for 8. You might want to try going to therapy to try to work through this if you don't already. I wish I could be of more help, but I deal with this problem too😥

Yes!!! To me I have boxes of time periods in my head, they’re all in like a row on a self (idk if that sounds crazy but) different times and people and even likes and dislikes kinda are distinctly grouped into their own box
