does anyone else feel really insecure and hate their voice? I just had a negative experience with someone where they called me really nasty names.

Yeah because my is higher pitch partly from damage and just being female. My family constantly thinks I talk back when I'm just speaking and leads to the point I'm not treated with respect as a adult.
