Inaccurate Medical Diagnosis Dates

I enjoy this site and have found it wicked beneficial. one thing I do not like, not this apps fault, but the dates that I was diagnosed with my medical issues are not accurate. I have had most of these for a lot longer.

I didn't know we could. I will check to see if i can change it. Just in some situation I think those of us that had something longer may be able to help more, not in all cases.

They've changed that system a few times, they used to ask for the month and year but a bug kept resetting the month to January on every entry so now they just ask for the year. Are you having problems with the year changing/resetting?

You can change the dates in your chronic conditions list. It asks for the date diagnosed OR for when it started for you.

The dates could be way more accurate, but i am pretty sure that the intent is to approximate the relative experience between peers. For example, I have been suffering for a very long time, but my dates only go back to official diagnosis.

Exactly, I had fibromytosis before it even had a name. It's just that they list how many years we have had each condition and how long we have been on the meds. Mine are usually listed with a recent visit at a Dr's. I guess I just wanted others to know that some of us have more experience with the diagnosis we have...

✋me too! But my diagnosis dates aren't accurate with my dr anyways. I've had most of mine for years before i was aware they weren't "normal"
