Do you have health insurance? If yes, you can contact your insurance and they might be able to give you a list of therapists. If you Google the names, you might be able to find one that lists being lgbt or an ally. Thats how ive been looking for a therapist for myself (not trans but gay and mentally ill lol)

I'm kinda scared of talking to a therapist rn because my life is just now getting back together and I'm afraid that if I say the wrong thing I'll get put in a mental hospital and I will lose all of my progress

a therapist is there to listen and help find coping mechanisms to improve your life. theyre only able to legally put you in a mental hospital if you tell them that youre going to harm yourself or others. i had the same fear at first but its very easy and theyll talk to you about it beforehand (if they are professional)

I usually use Psychology Today to find a therapist: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists. If you are in school, a guidance counselor or student services center may be able to help.
