In Need of a Friend: Battling Loneliness with My Condition

I have lots of medical issues as well that make me feel lonely lately. I had to have one of my shunts replaced back the end of February of this year. Ever since I had it replaced this time it messed my taste buds up really bad. Stuff is slowly starting to taste how it’s supposed to. But I still have days that nothing taste like it is supposed to and that goes for both food and drinks.

Same 😥 because of all my health issues, I isolate. I also don’t feel like my family gets any of it. I feel like they think it’s all in my head even though all my illnesses are diagnosed and documented. I feel like I constantly have to justify or make excuses for how I feel. So I feel ya
