Improving Communication Skills: Tips and Tricks

How can I improve on my communication skills? I personally am really bad at conversations and always feel awkward šŸ˜€.

I did something as a teen that helped me allot. Write down stuff, like a half a page of things that make you happy. Then explain to yourself in the mirror what you wrote down and why it makes you happy. Use this as a tool to better communicate even to yourself

I communicate through email or write it because it's not as hard, also I use I feel.. When.. Because.. That format helps me say things in a way that is not offensive

I seem to also have issues with just saying things without thinking at all and that's what sometimes cause my tone. Idk how to get around that. Maybe stop for just a sec and think first? Yeah that might work. Thank you!

Possibly practice writting out what your going to say in a hypothetical conversation, then practice by talking to someone ur comfortable with.

Same here. When I do speak up, my tone comes across as rude and then people get upset with me. šŸ˜„ I don't mean to, it's very frustrating.
