Hey! I was wondering, does anyone have advice on how to cope with being isolated due to being immunocompromised? I’ve been immunocompromised for about a year now and it has sucked not being able to go out in public.

Play games, read, draw, paint, cards, focus on improving my immune system, call people who understand.

I also am pretty immunocompromised and also live with people who are too and have COPD- so I understand… the biggest help for me was having a few close people to talk to I made some friends online…. I take a walk by myself almost everyday and even longer if the sun is out it really helps me with solitude just to get out with myself and have a change in scenery. I joined a lot of Facebook groups of my interests as well where I don’t have to be relied on for conversations with people like messaging and can just pop in and out anytime. I try to reach out and connect and catch up with people I may not always consider… like my cousins or aunts things like that.. it usually feels really good to connect with those people! Wish you the best I try to stay busy and write as well
