What, if anything in specific, do yall think caused your illness? most of my doctors agree early childhood trauma was at least a large contributor

      I think the biggest part is genetic and the predisposition we have to all kinds of mental disorders..But I think that how we were treated by our parents in our childhood has a role also.

      I have no idea. genetics maybe, but there isn’t a strong history of mental illness in my family. I think probably a mix of nature and nurture.

      Part of it for me is predisposition and genetics. Additionally, childhood trauma from sexual and verbal abuse, neglect, and instability.

      For me it's early childhood trauma, no stability early in life and abusive household both mentally abs physically that made me put myself in a box as to not upset or offend anyone. I'm learning to speak my mind and what not but still... that's where I'm at
