Identifying Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Inverse Psoriasis

Does anybody have both hidradenitis suppurativa and inverse psoriasis? is there any trick to knowing which is which at the very beginning of a flare? It seems like my HS looks the same as IP until a large sore and swelling forms. I feel like if I could identify the HS when it's first starting, instead of when it gets bad, it would heal faster.

I don’t have IP but I do have psoriatic arthritis and I can link my triggers of HS flares and PSA flares. I know it’s not the same but I’m glad to know there is a connection with psoriasis here. I hope you get some answers.
