How do you know if you have cysts or if they have burst? I’m pretty sure I have them but don’t know for sure.

For cysts on your ovaries, only an ultrasound would tell you if you still have them or not. I’m not sure about them bursting. Is that something you feel might have happened already?

well everyone has cysts, but i have PCOS and a tell tale sign is hair growth, weight gain, and cystic acne. i discovered thru an MRI and ultrasound that i have cysts near my kidneys and lungs too but not cancerous just the standard everyday joe typa cyst. If you think you have PCOS, you can try holistic at home remedies until you can afford a ultrasound.

Pain usually indicates cysts or rupturing of cysts

I had a massive cyst growing on my left ovary, it required a major surgery to remove. The biggest indicator for me was feeling like I was ovulating at all times of the month. But as mentioned before, everyone gets them and usually they go away on their own time. Just pay attention to your body and if things seem out of whack see a doctor when you can!

Gotta be specific. Pain for normal cysts can range from dull pain when you put pressure on a part of body or a brief sting. and rupturing would be ranging from menstrual cramps to extreme pain like Appendicitis

Really imaging is the most reliable way to tell if you have cyst. Other signs can be excessive hair growth, difficulty with weight loss, cystic/hormonal acne, irregular periods, etc. I would discuss symptoms with your OBGYN; and if pain is severe and doesn’t improve with NSAIDs then go to the ER to rule out other causes like appendicitis.
