IBS and UTIs: Anyone Else Suffering from Both?

Hi guys. Does anyone else who has IBS also get frequent UTIs? I just had a really bad UTI 2 weeks ago. It cleared up after I took Antibiotics but then it came back again with a vengeance today. 😕 Does anyone else suffer from both?

Yep. I had more time with UTIs than without for about two years. I started taking those azo cranberry gummies every day. That keeps it mostly in check for me but I do still get them every month or so.

Hi, I’m kind of in the same boat. I had a bad uti about 2 months ago, about 2 weeks after that cleared up I started having symptoms again and I went to my gyno 4 times throughout a period of a month and a half to try and clear it up. Turns out it is bacterial vaginosis, not another uti, and I’m still trying to find a way to clear it up and keep it from coming back. It definitely sucks dealing with bad ibs and a recurrent infection, feels like you can never catch a break and some part of you is always uncomfortable. I hope you can find some relief soon, I have been trying veefresh probiotics to help keep everything in check “down there,” so fingers crossed that helps at least a little bit.

YES I never took antibiotics for them but I did use something called uti vibrance it got rid of them every time within a few days. They stopped coming when I got a grip on my SIBO.

Oh okay. I'll have to check out uti vibrance. Thanks! I just got a different kind of antibiotics last night so hopefully they will help! I'm glad you were able to get them to stop coming.
