Does anyone on here have IBS and if you do what treatments do you use for it

      @hazyeclipse I was njust prescribed linzess. I’m hoping my insurance covers it. Otherwise I’ll try something else. My dr feels you have to see what works. I’m on miralax but I’m going to try something else. Better than not going at all!

      Unfortunately there’s not much. I take Kaopectate that helps somethings. My old GI put me on a regime of probiotics, fiber & a medication that I’m not sure name of (helps calm your insides before an attack) but honestly it was about the same results as just taking anti diarrhea medicine, for me.

      I take IB Guard! They are gastrointestinal doc approved they calm the GI system .

      I follow the formap diet and eat gluten free food

      I do fiber, drink lots of water and walk. Also, use Lactaid chews and ginger chews

      I haven't found anything that helps much. I'm pretty much reliant on laxatives right now because I otherwise can't go on my own and get to the point where I have to stop eating. trying to get accepted for a financial assistance program to get linzess (I can't afford it otherwise). It's my only hope, I hope it works
