Is it normal to have gurgling and bubbling in your rectum with IBS?

This is going to be so overly descriptive but I gotta know if it’s normal 😂 Does anyone else with ibs or any stomach problems get like gurgling and bubbling in their rectum? Usually not followed by flatulence but sometimes it can be. I get this so often and it always worries me and makes me think that I’ll have a dodgy bowel movement even though I normally don’t. Anyone in the same boat?

For me that's bowel spasms, you might not that. My stomach constantly makes noises and it can be kinda annoying and embarrassing.

yes! My stomach makes noise all the time and it sucks especially when I’m in a quiet room. My doctor has given me Colofac tablets which are meant to stop bowel spasms so I guess we’ll see how they do

I get it ✋ ✋ it’s the weirdest thing, but I’ve noticed typically it’s trapped air/gas that’s moving around!
