Are Your IBS Symptoms Getting Worse?

I think my IBS symptoms are getting worse. I’m just glad I finally got a doctor who referred me to a GI doc near me. My point is, has anyone else’s IBS/stomach issues gotten worse recently or is it just me?

Can you help? connect today

Lol I was literally about to write up a post about how I feel like things are so much worse then usual right now. I'm trying to hold out some hope since I'm seeing a new gastroenterologist next week, but it's so hard keeping up with what my system is throwing at me.

hang in there friend :) But yeah I can’t tell if these new symptoms are related to my IBS or if I’m developing something else bad.

I'm newly diagnosed with IBS but it was this past winter so pretty recent still. Not sure I'm familiar with how mine behaves unless I deliberately snack something bad. Which is hard to not do

I am almost 2 years into my diagnosis of IBS and I am still trying to find the right supplements to take to help manage my symptoms. I feel like every week is different for me, I always have discomfort, but most of my other symptoms vary from week to week no matter how I am eating/drinking, no matter what my activity level is, etc. I am just doing am extremely restricted diet, and staying consistent with the supplements I am currently taking, and I hope for the best. I am seeing a third GI doc in a couple months to get another opinion. Best of luck to you, and feel free to reach out if you want :)

My gastroenterologist prescribed Fibercon with is OTC. It does help with IBS-D which I have. Everything I eat seems to affect my IBS.
