Struggling with IBS: From Overactive to Underactive Bowels

Yes, I constantly go back and forth. Never an in between. Diet is a big one. Stress too. I did a food sensitivity test about 7 years ago it was a game changer. I now know my trigger foods and avoid them when I can.

Yeah I was diagnosed with SIBO and food sensitivities as well and I have generalized Anxiety. So my anxiety fuels the IBS. I have found that chocolate tends to add to any anxiety I have. But it's frustrating going back and forth.

I stay on the d side. I take anywhere from 16 to 42 immodium a day. Stuck at home most of the time...no life.πŸ™„

Yes I have a week of constipation and a week of diarrhea usually

I have found my triggers (eggs and dairy)for the diarrhea and have only mild symptoms every now and then. The constipation is water related for me I discovered if I I stay very hydrated I stay regular. Problem is some days I just forget or can't seem to consume what I need.

My dad does all the time. He does nt have Ibs as he does not believe in doctors.

Yes! I do off and on. More diarrhea than anything else though.
