IBS and Dating: How it Affects My Love Life

It's definitely has for me. Going out to dinner with someone I have to plan on what to eat and how much to have so I don't have any serious problems. And for the bedroom well let's just say that doing it "in the back door" is 100% off the table, and it's awkward to tell that to someone you're intimate for the first time and they want to try.

I tried flushing my leggings down a chili's toilet lol. It was traumatic at the time, but now it's a good party story.

I pooped my pants on a first date once. Lol. Now we have a baby together and he always helps me find emergency bathrooms.

For me it’s going out. I have other conditions as well but I don’t understand how people have time to date.

for me its more of going out and possibly having a flare up and having to explain the whole ibs issue 😅 and just being an inconvinence to them
