Conflicted About Smoking for IBD Relief

this is for anyone with IBD/similar digestive issues that uses marijuana for relief: i’ve been seeing a lot about chs (cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome) and have been experiencing a lot of the symptoms but i have no idea if it is my IBD causing it or if i should stop smoking asap. I’m so conflicted because smoking gives me so much relief but i’m still worried it is causing my symptoms. any advice??

I've had colitis long enough that I've been in remission for years. But generally when I smoke, if I have too much, that can really bother my colon. For me, I just have to watch my dosage with weed but I don't think that's generally advice that any medical professional would likely give.
