what to eat when you would rather chop off your arm than eat? flavors, textures, and chewing all sound awful right now, but I'm so hungry.

I usually have some biscuits or some chicken nuggets literally about 5 coz while I’m cooking them I’m not that hungry but the longer I’m standing waiting around I’m able to eat them and just go back to what I was doing

My favorite sick/comfort food is a toasted waffle with peanut butter. Not sure how you feel about that but I find its not overwhelming and helps with my severe stomach aches from night eating right away.

Bland food, rice, oatmeal, eggs, toast, mashed potatoes, pears. Trial and error.

Something like an Ensure “nutrition shake” might work for you—besides not needing to be chewed, the bottles are pretty small, I think, and it’s got a lot of different nutritional bases covered. If you’d rather go savory, maybe bone broth? When unsalted, it’s typically on the bland side, and again, no chewing. Not quite as nutritionally dense, but still much better than nothing.

When I couldn't stomach anything, I made soft boiled (mostly firm) eggs and cut it up into pieces & put it on crackers. It at least means you get some protein
