Struggling to Process My Hysterectomy Loss

Hi all. its been almost 3 years since my Hysterectomy. I'm still unable to process the loss properly. I feel like I've shut my emotions down and barely feel anything. recently I've been put on Trazodone which is helping with anxiety but my emotions are beginning to surface

Hi Minca. I'm 44 and luckily I have a 19 year old son. I was told after my Hysterectomy that the endometriosis and adhesions were so bad that I shouldn't have been able to conceive. I know I'm really lucky as most women with endometriosis can't have children. I feel I have no right to grieve the loss of my womb

I’m sorry you feel that way. What is your age if you don’t mind me asking? Do you have any children?
