hey yall. new to app. I feel lost in what doctor to get to check my symptoms out. I am not officially diagnosed with hypothyroidism but my lab work last year said I was a 4.7 for my t3 and t4 and most recent blood work is 5.5 which is considered healthy range for that blood test I guess. my symptoms are: -fatigue ( all the time)/ nap needed!every day -daily headaches -body aches -irregular periods -weight fluctuations -nasuea -muscle aches - easily out of breath -lightheadedness - unable to sleep without waking up multiple times a night if anyone has similar symptoms and is in the process of being diagnosed or is diagnosed please let me know what yall struggle with and which type of specialists yall go to. (endocrinologist, hematologist, etc.) šŸ˜Š

Hi! I have hashimotos, I see an endocrinologist for it. The most important thing I can stress is having thyroid antibodies drawn. I had normal tsh, t4, t3 when I first tested positive for thyroid antibodies. If they wouldnā€™t have checked those Iā€™d still be thinking everything was normal. My internal medicine doctor actually drew these then I got looped into endocrinology. Rheumatology would also be a great start I have multiple autoimmune conditions so I have a large medical team
