Yes brain fog :( and also doing things on autopilot and not remembering doing things scare me a lot. I’ve been trying to take things slowly and just be more mindful when I’m doing mundane tasks and remind myself I’m present. Explain to ur boyfriend that you aren’t purposely selectively not remembering certain things. Hopefully he can understand that you aren’t doing it on purpose. With people who have gotten angry, defensive or upset at me for forgetting or asking a question I’ve asked before. I tell them, “ I’m sorry if I’ve asked this question before, but I’ve been having memory issues so could you tell me again.” Most are understanding!

Yes I have felt more and more lately that my brain fog is getting worse especially in casual conversation I will be mid sentence and not remember anything I just said or have been talking about.

I have had bad brain fog too! It gets worse when my thyroid levels are low but I feel like it never completely goes away …

I did, and sometimes still do. I’ve found through a friends advise that D3 helps, as well as a gluten free diet and cutting out most sugar. There’s a long list of “trigger foods” and the more I can avoid those, the less the brain fog seems to be. But omg is brain fog so aggravating when it happens! It’s like I know what I want to say but it just goes drifting off into the sunset! You’re definitely not alone in that 🤗

@Raven_Rose it is >.< im definitely going to look into D3 supplements and all the food stuff. i didnt think it could help alleviate the symptoms, thank you!

@zerochan it helps so much! The big things were taking D3, and avoiding all soy and gluten, as well as almost all processed foods or refined sugars.

Yes, but ever since I started taking a combo of levothyroxine and vitamin d pills I haven’t had it as bad as I did previously

@Squishmallow that’s what I’m currently in and it seems to work wonders. I actually remembered a conversation that my brain fog “drifted away” from two weeks ago lol at least it’s better than forgetting what I’m talking about mid-sentence. B-12 can help too but hypothyroidism tends to deplete D3 levels. (D3 also helps ward off a certain virus that can be horrid on people with hypothyroidism so it’s a win/win, and often on a BOGO sale!)
