hello, I'm newly diagnosed with hypothyroidism and have been on medication for 3 weeks now. But I'm struggling so much with tiredness and weight gain. I can't live life normally like going to work every day and I weigh more than I ever have which is upsetting me. Does anyone have any advice for dealing with the tiredness and weight gain?

One user mentioned that it takes a while to feel right and get the medication correct, and water weight is temporary. Another user suggested that you might feel better and lose weight as soon as your medicine begins to work. It's important to be patient and give your body time to adjust to the medication. If you continue to struggle with these symptoms, consult your doctor for further advice.
