Dealing with Pre-Appointment Anxiety for Hypothyroidism Diagnosis

Hey, recently got diagnosed with hypothyroidism and am going to take the results to my primary, I'm a little scared but ready to finally see something work. How do you guys cope with the pre-appointment anxiety? I'm just worried he's going to brush me off again, which he's done before since I'm overweight, even with the results from the blood tests (even though that's irrational, I know)

I am currently going through some issues with my leg. I’ve been brushed off by multiple doctors because no one can figure out what is going on, since all my tests come back normal. So I often deal with appointment anxiety. Something that I have been telling myself recently is that I know something is wrong. We as humans aren’t supposed to feel sick/tired all the time or struggle to walk, it’s not normal. If you truly believe or your tests show that there is something wrong then there IS something wrong. Don’t let any doctor try to convince you otherwise. I hope this was at least a little helpful. If you wanna talk feel free to private message me 😊
