hi! I have hypersomnia. I've been known to literally sleep for a week. only getting up to inhale some food or go to the bathroom. then I'm right back to bed. usually, I sleep for approximately 3 days at a time and then I'm awake for 24 hours. sometimes it's also very different and very erratic. I also have insomnia. I've been in bed for as much as 10 hours pleading for sleep. sometimes I get up and do a little something but it doesn't help me sleep. medications don't work for me. if I'm awake, I'm awake and if I need to sleep, I pretty much have to sleep. it controls me. it controls my life. anyone relate?
