I was wondering if anyone with hypermobility syndrome uses mobility aids? I've been getting pretty bad lately, but every time I bring up maybe wanting mobility aids is always kind of taken as a joke. If you do use mobility aids, what do you find helps the most?

I have a cane and a Rollator (walker with wheels and a seat). I love them. They make it much more comfortable to walk and I can sit down instead of standing around at any time I have my walker. At first I was kind of embarrassed but I realized that they helped me a lot and people are a lot more polite and patient towards me when I use them. I put stickers and pretty tape on them for me to like them more

I use a wheelchair full time and I have a cane and crutches for getting around in the house on a good day. A rolling walker might also be helpful for you if you don't need mobility aids that stay close to your body

I do! I currently use a cane more days than not to help with stability. I also tend to use the mart-carts in stores. I'm looking at getting a rollator as well, because they're walking aids that have a seat, and being able to sit anywhere will definitely help with my personal issues. Don't let anyone get in your way about it. If you try it and it helps, then you deserve to have it. People who don't need it don't find it helpful.
