Anyone get hyper fixated with TV shows? Like watching crime shows and wanting to be a detective. Or watching a lot of Medieval documentaries and wanting to learn sword fighting, go to renaissance festivals, or make chain maile. What's the best way to get grounded again or express such feelings healthily? Is this a sign that I might have undiagnosed ADHD?

I watch too much Netflix etc but I have never wanted to be a detective. I can see how the detective movies can make you want to be one bit realistically, nah..
I defiantly can’t stop watching a show then I literally don’t get anything done

my toxic trait is getting into a TV show or genre of youtube videos and thinking "yea I could do that for a living no problem"
@wise Lmao SAME I feel this so much
I watch too much tv especially since COVID. I need to be moving vs. sitting. I’ve never felt like someone was watching me. Being interested in a new interest or hobby is a good thing.
Yes I do too
Waiiittttt a minute! Is this a real like mental like thing? I’m so serious I’ve always wonder why I get that feeling when I was things … I had to stop watching BlackList because I kept having this feeling of me being an agent etc.. I’ve always done this 😣
@JustRachelle Same here! It drove my exes crazy because I would dive so hard into new interests.
