Hunger or Nausea?

tw: food (just in case) Does anyone else struggle to know if they are hungry or just feeling sick to their stomach? I have never had a diagnosed eating disorder before and I don't mind eating, I just can't tell if I need food or if I just feel sick. Only exception is when I forget to eat all day and I'm suddenly starving.

Do you take stimulants for ADHD? I struggle with this when I take mine!

i relate v much to this post. i have such a hard time telling if im hungry and usually have to start by trying a bit of something and see where that gets me. tbh, most of the time i am just hungry but i think bc im so bad at noticing the best way my body knows to tell me is through pain :P

Usually I can tell the difference by looking at/thinking about what I want to eat. If something or LOTS of things sound really good to me, I'm hungry. If I can't think of anything that sounds appetizing or if thinking about food makes me feel sick, it's usually that my stomach is sick and is telling me to avoid eating. Some water or plain crackers is a good go-to if I feel like that because it could be a little of both šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø but those won't upset my stomach
