Seeking advice on HRT and PCOS

I'm a nonbinary person with PCOS and I would like to start HRT/GAHT. I haven't been to a doctor about my PCOS since my diagnosis, and I haven't taken anything to treat it except birth control that was prescribed on diagnosis, which I stopped taking after just a couple months. I haven't been able to find much information on PCOS and hormone replacement for trans people. I am concerned about it because I know part of PCOS is that it messes with your hormones. It might be a long shot but I was curious if anyone would have any knowledge about HRT and PCOS specifically?

Hey rye, I’m taking hrt as a treatment for my PCOS. In PCOS the androgen levels are raised (not always), and hrt supplies hormones that can lower the androgen levels. If you don’t want to take hrt, I can tell you that I was offered some anriandrogen meds like aldacton to treat my excess body hair, so maybe you should ask your doctor about it. Nevertheless, I recommend you to find an LGBTQ friendly doctor, who has an experience with non-binary patients.
