Sit down, actually reclining. Sometimes knees to chest for a while too, but back always needs to go back at least 15 to 30 degrees. Then deep breathing using abdomen vs chest. I found this out at my first ER visit. After hours of uncontrollable shaking, i happen to bring my knees up. Shaking instantly stopped. When the nurse came in, she didnt care.she asked me to put my knees down. She wanted the knees back down. Immediately shaking started back up. Told her then i need more Zofran.
