How to Get a Service Dog: Tips and Advice

Just a quick correction: emotional support dogs are NOT given public access like service dogs are. It is illegal to bring an emotional support animal into non pet friendly place as per the ADA laws.

I also have a medical/psych service dog! He has given me my independence back and saved my life many times

You also might consider an Emotional Support Animal. I don't know your situation. I have severe panic attacks. I've had 2 ESA's. They can go anyplace a Service Animal can go.
