I seem to sleep and wake in 4-5 hr sprints.. Sleep 4hrs awake for 5. It's rather frustrating because I can't sleep at night.

Currently been up for 26 hrs. Yesterday I slept maybe 3 hours before this awake cycle. Sleep cycle can be 3-15+ hrs right now. Before leaving my job I was getting about 3-4 hrs due to insomnia issues, but my days off I would be out for 12+ hrs so get nothing done.

I’m lucky if I get 4-5 hours
Since my sister returned my weighted blanket, I've been sleeping 12+ hours. Before that it was less than 8, and I would wake up every couple of hours.

I haven't been able to get good sleep for a month. I don't sleep more than a couple hours and when I do it's constant nightmares
My sleep amounts mostly depend on my pain levels and how exhausted I am. As well as if it's a night that I take my sleeping medication, which I can't take on days that I have to be functioning in the morning.
I get shitty sleep

My husband works an off shift and I try to spend time with him when he gets home each day, then still take all 3 kids to their schools on time each morning. But we do get to nap while they're away. I also have bradycardia which makes it difficult to wake up in general
My insomnia is awful. I’m back home for thanksgiving break and I honestly thought being back would help me sleep a little better but no, I tried a sleep hypnosis last night with one if my 0.5 xanax and it had me out for about 2 hours before I woke back up and tossed and turned before going back out for another 4 :/ for me I need about 8 hours of sleep to maintain my mood stabilization and with the way school has been demanding me around on top of my already awful sleep problems it does not help
The only reason I even get 6-8 hours is because of a medication to sedate me. Otherwise my insomnia would put me in the 4-5 range and none at all some nights.

It can fluctuate based on my depression and anxiety
Definitely depends on the night. Some nights it feels like I could sleep all day, others I can't sleep even if I wanted to.
I typically sleep 12+ hours a day
It depends on the night.
During the week anywhere between 0-4 on and off. The weekend if no one bothers me I get close to 12-16. Sunday 0.
Depends on the night

I go from sleeping less than four to more than ten so I'm kinda weird

2- 12 hours depending on the situation
@Roxi7039 Like last night I only got 2 hours, just woke back up and ended up staying up, couldn't get back to sleep
The answer is simply never enough. It can vary each day for me but I'm always tired anyway

Most of the time I get lost in my own thoughts and before I know It the sun is coming up ☹️

I lay in bed for about 9 hours. My fitbit tells me I spend a lot of time awake at night so usually actual sleep around 6-7.
Wow shocked by the results, I can’t even get out of bed the next day with out at least 9. Good on u guys, but if you are struggling try more sleep. It’s key for me having any energy at all.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Anywhere from 5 to 6 hrs I used to take sleep meds, but they only work a little while. It's the bipolar kicking in I guess... 😥
I struggle on 6 hours or less, but I can sleep 14hrs straight. An optimal amount of sleep from how I feel when I wake up is 7-9 hrs
@Lill My sleep definitely depends on how I am feeling, and if I have something to do or look forward to the next day. Scheduling plans is the only way I can get myself out of bed when I depression/world avoidance sleep
😥lately i get tired n i feel like my eyes are drooping but then ill get a 2nd & 3rd wind. And be up till 5am then pass out
I always end up in bed for 9-10 hours/night. I will usually wake up once or twice but I will never feel fully rested unless I am in bed for at least 9 hours.

I don’t know when the last time I got a full restful 8 hours of sleep. Because I use to be a Firepolice officer so my pager could go off at any time. Some calls were only a few minutes long but some were hours long. But lately my grandfather had health issues so I didn’t get as much sleep as I should because I was worried about him. But sadly he passed away last Saturday morning and we had his memorial service on Wednesday. I know this might sound mean but now that my grandfather passed away and I know that he isn’t In anymore pain. I find that I have been able to sleep better and I’m not so restless like I was before.
Never the same....and usually interrupted. I feel grateful if I get 6 quality hours of sleep.❤️
I've stayed up for nearly twenty four hours once and felt exactly the same as when I get ten hours of sleep, so I've somewhat given up on getting a full eight hours. But even four consecutive hours? You're dreaming! Or y'know, not . . As long as I get six or seven in a night, that's a win in my book.
Sometimes I get 4 and sometimes I get 6-7 hours. Sometimes I even get none..

It's either less than 4 or more than 10 and there is no in-between
sometimes throughout the day and night
i feel like i sleep about 6-8 on a normal week, but when i'm not doing well i can sleep the whole entire day and into the night
I say 6-8 but it's not continuous even on ambien

Going through stress I love to sleep a lot
I'm not good at sleeping...
I work night shift i sleep in 2 shifts 2 hours in the morning 4 hours in the evening . 4 hours at one time is about all i can do
I need at least 10 hours of sleep to feel semi-well rested 🤷 I've slept for 14 hours once, woke up, and was still tired

I need more sleep, but I just quit smoking weed, and I was a chronic user who it helped go to bed… wish me luck on my 3 hours

My sleep depends on how my day went and where I'm trying to sleep. Such as when I'm home I can't sleep when anyone else is awake. However i did found people and places I feel safe to sleep. For Instance when I'm with my bf or godmother I feel safe to sleep so I would be getting 8+ hours of sleep. Normally I get around none to three hours of sleep just do to the feeling of unsafe while sleeping.
I will try that 😥
I've a routine to getting the maximum amount of sleep 💤 that a long shower to relax my muscles than a nice bath 🛁. I usually can get about 6-8hrs maybe 10hrs if I'm lucky without a pain flare. My body is accustomed to getting 4-6hrs maybe 8hrs
Would love to sleep more but the pain is horrible 😫

Never or always

it honestly just depends on certain things

I sleep anywhere btwn 10 - 12 hours a night, except when hubby is home on the weekends. Week after next is Christmas and I'm probably going to sleep just as much then as I am now. All of our children are grown and have families of their own. My disability prohibits me from traveling even short distances. I prefer to stay home, I've always been more of a homebody anyway, now I have a legit reason to stay home. My husband finally understands that I would much rather be at home in pain then go to someone else's home. I have, in the past, gone to family functions, but almost always find myself wishing I was home instead. So glad hubby has noticed and has acquiesced on forcing me to attend family gatherings. It only took him 10 years!
It honestly depends. Most of the month I can easily sleep 8-12 hours and about a week straight I sleep for 2-3 hours.

Since my baby girl was born I sleep much less but I still keep trying to get as much sleep as I can because it's so important for our mood.

This is such a difficult question to answer considering I never sleep a whole night through. I often wake up every couple hours and sleep throughout the day. My sleeping patterns are so inconsistent 😥
I've started counting getting 5 hours as a great accomplishment :/
My sleeping habits varies, there's some days where I'll only get max 2-3 hours and then there's days where I'll get nearly 10 hours.
Some days I sleep 3-4 hours, other days 9-12 hours it varies

Allie_May*** that’s exactly how I was trying to put it. Like I will wake up wide awake for a few hours and then sleep for a few more hours
I sleep for a couple of hours and then for some reason every night between 230 and four I’m awake and then I sleep for a couple more hours and then I usually nap for an hour or two during the day sometimes more depending upon how I feel
It varies. I’ve been put on medications but now if I take them I’m a zombie in the morning and the nightmares are crazy 😥
I’m on multiple sleep medications and have yet to get anywhere near 8 hours of sleep let alone restful sleep. The insomnia is strong in this one
@UnluckyUnicorn I have both obstructed sleep apnea, and REM sleep behavior (where you scream, yell, swing arms and legs, sleepwalk, act out dreams, etc, etc.) Last night in my dream, I was running up the wall(in my dream) and when I ran down the wall, I landed on the floor, pretty hard. Luckily, there were the decorative pillows on the floor. I have multiple meds too, but wake up groggy, and unmotivated. Fortunately, I'm very close to retirement, and will make up some of the last 20+ years of poor sleep
What’s sleep? 😞🤣
😥
Never 8 hours straight. More like 4 hours (wake up) 4 hours.

@ChronicallyChaotic I have heard some argue that is humans’ natural rhythm. Gotta take those lookout shifts for threats.
