Does anyone else drink hot tea to help with their anxiety? If so what kind?

I used to do throat coat tea a lot- even when I wasn’t sick- I just liked the taste as it tasted like calmness I guess haha.. I also used to do magnesium sometimes- it came in a powder form so not really tea but great to help with relaxation

It seems like honey is the secret ingredient that I am missing! 😊😁 I will give it a try!

Peppermint with honey was my go to when I was going through an autistic shutdown and I was mute for a whole week. It was the one thing I looked forward to in my day.

I really like apple cinnamon with a little bit of honey. May you all be reminded of how unique and beautiful you are .🤗❤️ God makes all things in his image.

Ohhh I will have to try a Chai next! I am loving a chamomile and mint right now, it has melatonin in it so I drink it before going to bed. 🥰

@Lunabean oh wow I had no idea it had melatonin! That makes so much sense haha

@Zaynado Definitely! I have insomnia really bad. Sometimes I am lucky to fall asleep before 4 or 5 am so any tiny tad bits I get I will use. It helps the tea is not over powering in the mint department too, you know! 😉😂

Chai and chamomile work best for me. Ai would also recommend peppermint if you think having a strong smell will help aswell. It's like essential oil and tea mixed into one! Lol
