Anyone have tips on how to do homework? I literally am unable to get myself to sit down and do it. No matter how much I want to cause I love my major (Psychology), it just feels impossible. I have a paper that was due last week and I can’t get myself to do it, I feel like something is wrong with me.

It's going to sound horrible, but unless you are one of the lucky few where meds work, there are only 2 things I've found that work. Caffeine; someone told me an upper with some ADHD sufferers helps, with me it turns a garunteed procrastination setting into a 50/50. And weed; which mellows me out to the point where I stagnate from boredom so much that I autopilot anything that needs doing.

See if someone could help you, or even break the paper down. What's your paper on? I love psychology.

@RookMoonHammer it’s so difficult because caffeine triggers my anxiety and so does weed. I used to smoke a little bit but then I had a bad trip that lasted for hours and took me a few days to recover so I can never go back. My therapist will probably put me on Adderal, we just had to up a dose for my anxiety of another medication so I have to wait.

I also procrastinate a lot. I end up just doing everything at the last minute because the fear of failing the class is strongest at that point. I used to be majoring in psychology also. Loved it until it got to the stats class I dropped 4 times and didn't pass twice.

@Halcon quizlet is the only thing getting me through that class. It’s so frustrating and I know exactly how you feel. I’ve withdrew from probably 6 classes in the last two years and am debating on another for this semester, it all can be so frustrating.
