I usually have a couple of gel eye masks in the fridge, and when migraine hits, I put it on my head and lay down in the dark. I use earplugs as well, so I don't hear any sounds. Usually, my migraines are triggered by environmental factors, so very loud noises, bright lights, and flashes, so when I walk in the street, I use earplugs and when it's sun out I always use sunglasses. The best way is to find what triggers your migraines and avoid the triggers. But of course, if you get migraines due to stress, that's more difficult to manage.

I have a 2 yr old, so I know you can't always rest when you need to. I use cooling gel (in the US we have dollar stores, you can get it real cheap there, or you can get a name brand like Bio freeze). This with air hitting my head is really soothing. Alternatively, you could use peppermint oil or a CBD roll on. I also use an ice cap. It's nice because it holds the ice packs on for me, and I can go about my day. Also, in the freezer I have a weighted thing that goes around neck and shoulders. (My migraines start in my neck.) The cooling and weight pulling my shoulders down is nice.

Eye mask with beads or cooling gel! Lavender also helps and bio freeze across my neck!
