Hip Pain: Muscles or Joint?

Is the pain in one specific place, or does it run down the outside of your leg toward your knee? If it runs down toward the knee, could be your IT Band. Ive had lots of issues with mine over the years.

Hmm… it sounds like muscle pain maybe? Idk, I am not a doctor, just a zebra with hip pain. Is it sharp and sort of stabby feeling, or sore, achy, tired- feeling? Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
