My para-thyroid levels are high and I am on kidney stone #29. I feel fine until a kidney stone drops and then it is excruciating. I have to take pain pills when that happens and the pain pills cause constipation. Then if you take a rescue med it causes me to have extreme diarrhea. My endocrinologist want to remove the hyperactive para thyroid but I have other issues that are preventing that right now. My urologist knows about the issues and we are discussing surgery as well to break up the kidney stones I have right now that haven't dropped.
