High Heart Rate in the Morning - POTS or Weirdness?

does anyone else’s heart start racing as soon as they open their eyes in the morning? before starting beta blockers my heart would go to 127 when i woke up (before i even had a chance to move or get up out of bed) thankfully it’s lower now but still pretty fast.. is this a POTS thing or am i just weird lol

Definitely POTS. Before beta-blockers, my resting heart rate was 120-140 and would go over 200 at times. After, my resting HR is 60-90 and never goes above 130

The second I wake up or get moving in the morning my heart rate skyrockets to 130-150. I also wake up feeling like I can’t breathe and heart is racing. I am not on medication but have been diagnosed with POTS

I do that too! It was one of my GP’s indicators that maybe I wasn’t having anxiety attacks since I was literally asleep right before. I notice it most when I’m super exhausted before I go to sleep.

No, it’s not a dumb question. When my blood pools my toes turn red or purple and my feet feel kinda painful and tingly. Sometimes it happens to my hands too
