High Blood Sugar and Headaches: What Can I Do?

I noticed my blood sugar has been running high in the 200 range. Does high blood sugar cause headaches and other than medicine what can lower my sugar quickly?

Purplelover, I have limited mobility, also so getting out and walking is difficult for me. But you’re right that exercise is good for lowering blood sugar and improving blood pressure. Not to repeat myself, but drinking lots of water is also good to help lower your blood pressure. I also take beta blockers for chronic tachycardia which causes me headaches.

Another name for diabetes heart disease but yes it can affect the brain causing lots of mental disturbance and confusion when the blood sugar is too high. If you can’t lower your blood sugar with insulin and pills and fastest way to bring the blood sugar down to go on the keto diet and stay away from the carbohydrates. Diabetes all due to what you put in your mouth so it is a controllable disorder. Try the keto diet and drop 30-40 pounds or as much as you can and you will see your blood sugars come down especially if you are active and walk at least three or four times a week.

Eat more whole grain stuff. I eat organic whole wheat bread is helping a lot. Everything wheat help low your sugar
