@Kyrsten When I like that I try to sit and write or color or watch a favorite TV show or movie or put music I like and I sing my hear out and I'd not.od those work the I put on sleepy time music or guided meditation music and just Focus on my breathing and that seemed to help it every single time without fail at least for me

Well deeper question in return...how and why you know those numbers?

they probably have a BP monitor that also shows heart rate

High blood pressure is a silent killer. Better to be safe than sorry. Bottom number (diastolic ) is of concern.

RUN to your doctor and get your blood pressure checked. You are going to have a stroke. Same thing happened to my brother and he became paralyzed on the right side due to a blood clot. Luckily he recovered with medicine and rehab.

don't freak someone out like that, those numbers aren't even that high for a stroke, and we don't know the back story. You tell them to RUN to their doctor, bc something happened to your family member...what you think would happen? Blood pressure would go up way higher! Chill.

That is scary My friend from high school died in her sleep from a heart attack. She was only 55 y o. You must refuse your weight and not eat too many carbs & sodium that raises my b/p sky high too. My Dr. Informed me to lose 20 lbs. 1 normally weigh 116-118 lbs And Iam weighing 138lbs. I feel it- I am walk 10,000 steps a day, that is 3 miles. And by mid June I should be back fitting into my sz 3-4 pantsđŸ’šđŸŒ±â€

Do get it checked out by a doctor. I used to ignore it and it caught up with me. Best to get it checked out

That isn't high enough that I would think you would feel different (at least right away). I don't think it is anything to panic over. That said, you should schedule an appointment with your doctor to discuss it.

Try your best to relax.. calming music meditation and then check it again
of course let your doctor know but I wouldn’t run to the ER unless you try to get it down and it doesn’t..

Anxiety & Pain can increase the BP. Have you been experiencing those?
