Dealing with Multiple Health Conditions, Seeking Support

Hey, I’m a 28 year old female with hashimotos autoimmune but I am also in a hyperthyroidism phase right now. Along with that I have anxiety and just diagnosed with pppd. Anyone have something similar going on?

I get quite “dizzy” sometimes, not vertigo, but I kind of “gray out” or get disoriented with exertion. This symptom is typically paired with my CFS diagnosis, but I also have Hashi’s in remission.

Yes, I have Hashi’s also. I recently started following a Dr. with the same symptoms, he lessened his symptoms with diet/interminate fasting/eliminating sugar and carbs from his diet. Started doing the same and have lost 42 lbs since March. Got my energy back/no anxiety/depression/no brain fog/ and feel like myself again! It’s a complete life style change but worth it to feel so much better. Forgot what normal felt like.

that’s awesome! I did a huge lifestyle and nutrition change and lost 40lbs myself. I don’t need to lose anymore weight because I have hyperthyroidism so I was already losing weight. I did feel better for a couple months then had a huge set back and I was still eating clean and everything. It was pretty discouraging. Still trying to figure out what the change was and why my symptoms exacerbated again but it’s definitely a journey of ups and downs.

I went through a hyperthyroid phase after my first pregnancy. Your anxiety could be your increase in heart rate, blood pressure, or just your TSH numbers. Just keep getting your numbers checked.

I have Hashimoto’s too, but after both full term pregnancies I had hyperthyroid spikes for a while. I think it has something to do with all the hormone dumping the body does post delivery. Definitely keep an eye on your levels.
