Herpes onset related to medication?
I was diagnosed with Herpes about 6 months starting Gilenya. curious if anyone else wonders if their Herpes onset was related to the medicine.

I've been on Valtrex since I was first diagnosed with Herpes. I haven't had an episode since, "knock on wood". I've just always wondered where it came from. It's good to hear you had a similar situation. Gives me some piece of mind I'm not crazy 🙂

I had exactly what you are describing. I started taking this medicine about 1 year ago or so. After 4 months I had herpes zoster. It hurts like hell. I read online that it is a rare side effect of the drug, something to do with the immune system undergoing changes. What did you do? I started acyclovir and it helps
