How long did it take to diagnose Henoch-Schönlein Purpura?

I've had it since I was 3, one day I was having leg pain and could not walk. 🙃

I am a rare case. I got it at the age of 5 and have the symptoms all backwards so we didn't know I had it until my intestines started overlapping

The purpura started in January this year, and it took three months to get a diagnosis via skin biopsy. Was in the ER twice, they had no clue what was wrong with me.

I had gotten all of the symptoms backwards at the age of 5 so my intestines overlapped before I got the Rash like bumps

I was hospitalized for 2 weeks with all of my organs and insides swollen to full capacity and after having a bunch of tests done a doctor diagnosed me and sent me to another hospital for treatment and took about 4 months for them to truly diagnose me with it as well as Ibs and celiac 😥

I went into urgent care and I had an emergency appointment with a dermatologist the next day. After biopsy it took a week for diagnosis.
