Something cold to put on my neck, usually helps me snap out of it and slow my breathing. Ask them to talk soft and about anything to calm me, make me laugh, slow my breathing extra.

I usually tell them to give me my space. It’s really hard to tell what I want because every one of my panic attacks have been different. One minute I don’t want to be alone, the next I don’t want anyone to see me the way I am.. Panic attacks suck but sometimes taking time for yourself and step away even just for 10 minutes helps. Well helps me atleast, or give me a paper and pencil.. lol.. drawing helps me a lot as well, not the best thing to do in the middle of the work day though

I usually talk to them about my medications and when they should help me take them. Sometimes panic attacks can feel paralyzing and having someone there to remind me to take medication can help shorten my attacks. I've also gone over ways I cope, what they look like, and if there's any way they can help. Sometimes I even explain that I want to try and cope by myself. Having someone who respects that is very important.
