I am glad I am not the only one dealing with bladder issues. It sucks!

My God that's horrible never even heard of diverticulitis of the bladder I'm in a similar situation they are telling me my bladder is not prolapse but my gyno said it is. Next step for me is botox shots.

it is super frustrating! I feel like my GYN just wanted to do the surgery to meet a quota. I'm glad I listened to my intuition and canceled it. It would have caused more problems and solved nothing. UGH

I don't have any advice as I'm in a similar situation. I have tried Myrbetriq (which didn't work at all) and Oxybutynin (which worked but caused severe dry mouth to the point of destroying my teeth). My GYN told me that there was nothing else she could do other than a bladder sling. At that point, I went to a Urologist and he said my issues would not be corrected with a sling, that my prolapse was not that bad, and I had diverticulitis of the bladder. He told me to do Kegel exercises to help with retention. (3 sets of 10 reps, 3 times a day for 2 weeks) But did not offer any help with OAB, diverticulitis, or IC. So I'm just suffering through it. Frequent trips to the bathroom, always knowing where one is while shopping, etc. As well as watching what I drink and eat to not aggravate my IC. Hopefully, someone else will have some suggestions on what else we can do. 🤞
