how can I help my tourettes?

Distractions like music and tv can help calm tics down and having something to focus on like exercise, fidget toys, art, animals etc can keep tics calm as well. It's also best to try and figure out what triggers your tics and managing stress can help as well because for many with tourettes, including myself, stress can trigger tics. Also, managing stress can also help reduce the risk of having a rage attack which is common for people with tourettes. Anotger thing I'd recommend is trying to get at least 6 hours of sleep because tiredness and lack of sleep can also trigger tics

I try and take a moment to relax. Like especially when they are happening all at once. I lay down, close my eyes, and just breath. Helps calm yourself down

Some non-medication strategies to help with Tourette's syndrome include listening to music, playing an instrument, habit reversal training, improving sleep, and reducing caffeine intake. Additionally, talking to a neurologist or psychiatrist can provide more options for managing tics.
