Heart problems keeping me up at night

I’ve been having a lot of heart problems which get really bad at night and only seem to be getting worse. Right now, as I’m laying in bed, my heart rate itself is fine, but the heartbeat feels really heavy. My heart feels tight, tense, constricted and I keep getting a weird tense, squeezing and electrical type shock, also, a tons of shortness of breath and difficulty breathing. It feels like my breathing keeps getting cut off and my lungs feel tight and heavy.

You might want to see a cardiologist, just to make sure it's nothing physical.

@Chrys Yeah, (posting this comment in the morning after this) last night was terrible. My heart felt super weak, as if it was struggling to maintain it’s rhythm and strength. My rate was all over the place just from breathing, and even stopped a couple times (once when I yawned, and once when I was drifting off to sleep). I couldn’t fall asleep until 6AM without getting jolted awake.. This just sucks so much.

I have this a lot due to my POTS. Sometimes if I’m laying funny or don’t have enough circulation, it gets hard to.. well.. circulate. Especially if I wake up in the middle of the night and roll over. My body has difficulty keeping up sometimes when I’m laying flat like that.

I tend to feel like that after feeling too much anxiety or feelings or existential dread or disassociation… it hurts when you have to fight your mental all day and nothing changes 😞
